About the role
Baycoast Media builds customer acquisition systems for local businesses. Social media is one of the ways we help our clients build trust, stay visible, and drive real growth. We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can take ownership of that work across a growing roster of clients.
This is a part time, fully remote contractor role. Work happens on your schedule within reasonable client turnaround expectations. We do not require you to be in the United States. We do not sponsor visas. If you can produce great work on time and communicate clearly in English, where you live is not a barrier.
What you will do.
- Plan and execute content calendars for multiple clients across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Write clean, on-brand captions that match each client's voice
- Coordinate with our team on visual assets, graphics, and video content
- Monitor performance and share what is working with clients and the team
- Stay ahead of platform changes and share what matters with the rest of us
Who we are looking for.
- You have real, demonstrated experience managing social media for businesses, not just personal accounts
- You write well in English and can adapt tone to different client industries
- You are organized and reliable with content calendars and deadlines
- You care about results, not just posting for the sake of posting
- You can work independently without needing to be micromanaged
- Bonus: experience with Meta Ads Manager, basic graphic design, or short-form video editing
Who this is not for.
This is not a role for someone looking for a full time salaried W-2 position with benefits. It is not a role for someone who wants heavy structure and daily supervision.
